Pulsatile Innovations Wins MedTech Ignite Pitch Challenge
Pulsatile Innovations has been named a winner at the MedTech Ignite Innovation Pitch Challenge in Melbourne, marking a significant milestone in the development of Pulse Tile™.
Founder Elleesha King presented Pulse Tile™ live to a panel of industry leaders, alongside a cohort of emerging MedTech innovators working to shape the future of healthcare. The event, held at St Vincent’s Hospital in Fitzroy, brought together clinicians, investors, engineers, and founders for an evening focused on innovation and impact.
Pulse Tile™ - a device designed to provide objective pulse detection and real-time CPR feedback during cardiac arrest - stood out for its clear clinical need and potential to support faster, more accurate decision-making in high-pressure emergency settings.
As part of the win, Pulsatile Innovations has been awarded $30,000 in in-kind engineering support from Hydrix, a leading product development and engineering firm specialising in MedTech. This support will play an important role in accelerating the next stage of product development.
In addition, each of the judges has offered a one-hour mentoring session, providing valuable access to industry expertise across commercialisation, clinical pathways, and product strategy.
“This recognition reflects both the importance of the problem we’re solving and the progress we’ve made so far,” said Elleesha King. “We’re looking forward to working with Hydrix and continuing to build momentum as we move toward clinical trials.”
The MedTech Ignite Pitch Challenge highlights the strength of Australia’s MedTech ecosystem and the growing pipeline of innovation emerging from early-stage companies.
For Pulsatile Innovations, the win represents more than just recognition - it’s a step forward in bringing Pulse Tile™ closer to real-world impact.
